Nate's B-day party was this last weekend (the kid in the web site design). He turned the Big 7. What a cool day for him. He got a brand new Bike, and had a big party full of friends and family. I had to skip out early because we were getting Direct TV, but I got to see him get his shiny new bike. He started by opening a bike helmet and had no clue why he was getting a helmet from Aunt Amy n' Uncle Frad (me). Then his mom told him to go find what went with the Helmet. Talk about a confused and excited kid. He was running in circles looking for "what went with the Helmet." Well when he found it he was stoked. Riding it everywhere! I think he even forgot there was a Birthday party happening for a few seconds.

Later that night we got the Direct TV and a Tivo. I have no idea how I ever lived with out it. I can now pay attention to other things, and not have to worry about missing a show I was planning to watch for 3 weeks. Oh and I can rewind live TV! I know this is nothing new, but I feel like I just entered the future.
