Thursday

Garrett wasn't here again today. Hannah slept in until 9 AM. Pink moo and toasty sticks. Cartoon. Hannah was given a choice and decided to stay in her PJs for a while instead of going outside. She watched Bolt for a little while.

Evelyn was dropped off around 10:45 AM.

Snack: apple and gatorade.

We went out back for about half an hour.

Lunch: turkey and cheese sandwich, carrot sticks, pepperoni slices, and juice.

I tried to read some Pooh Bear story to Hannah but the baby would not cooperate. Hannah didn't want to go to sleep so I told her to stay in bed and she could look at her books. When her two hours was up, I went to get her and she had fallen asleep.

Snack: some more apple, cereal in milk, and pink moo.

We watched Aladdin while the baby played on a blanket on the floor.

Brad got home around 5:30 PM with dinner.

Friday

Garrett: 6:15 AM. Cartoon. Pink moo. He did really well staying quiet until Hannah woke up around 8:15 AM. Pink moo. More cartoon. Both kids said they weren't hungry, so I gave them a few minutes to play before breakfast.

I put together the Hot Wheels City and they enjoyed that for a little while. Things got a little crazy so I asked them not to throw the cars in the air. Not half a minute later, Garrett forgot about not throwing and I had him take a seat in the hallway for time out.

Breakfast: cereal in milk.

They played with cars again for a while and I turned on the kid music.

The baby got here at about a quarter to nine.

Snack: blueberry muffins and juice.

I sent the kids out back to share Garrett's scooter and Hannah's tricycle. Hannah fell while holding a rock so I brought them in and tended to her owie. I turned a movie on for them while I made lunch.

Lunch: alphabet vegetable soup, crackers and cheese, and juice. The letters in the soup made it so fun that they forgot they even had cheese on their plates. Vanilla wafers for dessert. I fed the baby at the same time so all four of us had lunch together. The kids love watching the baby eat.

At nap time, I put the baby in a little wedge of blankets with her bottle on Hannah's bed and sat on the end to read chapter 2 of Winnie-the-Pooh. Garrett fell asleep somewhere in the middle of the chapter and Hannah fell asleep a few minutes after I left the room. They slept for about two and a half hours.

I sent Garrett home with some Cracker Jacks for snack. Hannah asked for a yogurt cup and dry cereal and washed it down with pink moo.

Garrett went home around 4 PM. Brad got home around 5 PM. The baby was here until about 6:45 PM.

Three for Thursday

Garrett: 6:15 AM. Pink moo and toasty sticks. Cartoons. He was very quiet while he waited for Hannah to wake up. Hannah woke up around 8:15 AM. Pink moo and toasty sticks. Cartoon.

They played with trains and other toys for a little bit. I let them color at the table with a dry erase board and markers. Then they played with puzzles.

Snack: applesauce and juice.

Evelyn got here around 10:30 AM. I sent the other two kids outside to play. They were only out there for about half an hour before Hannah got a time out for screaming at Garrett in the meanest way, then she got sent to bed for kicking the wall in time out. I brought them in and made them watch "Monsters, Inc." to stop them from running around like nuts.

Lunch: cheese quesadillas and fruit with milk to drink.

I tried to read a story to Hannah and Garrett before nap but I was giving the baby a bottle at same time. Of course, the children didn't get a full story because that was a silly thing for me to do. All three children slept at the same time. They all slept for about three hours. Hannah was awake when I went in to get them up, but she said she was only awake for "a lil' bit".

Snack: chocolate milk and Ritz crackers. Cartoon while I fed the baby.

We pulled out the Candyland board game and played it in the kitchen with the baby in the highchair with some toys. That only lasted a little while. Then I sent the kids outside.

Brad got home around 5:30 PM. Jim picked up Garrett around 5:45 PM. Brad took Hannah to the home improvement store with him. Evelyn went home around 6:30 PM.

[Me again: I forgot to feed myself this morning. I managed to unload and reload the dishwasher before the baby got here. Laundry. I read more of the book club novel while I rocked the baby.]

Friday, a very full day.

Garrett was dropped off just after 6 AM. He watched cartoons until Hannah woke up. He ate a toaster waffle and had pink moo. Hannah woke up at about 7:30 AM. Pink moo and toasty sticks. Petey finished what she didn't because he was naughty and climbed up the table to grab it. I asked Hannah why she let the dog finish her breakfast. She blinked at me and said, "Because he's silly."

Since the baby was coming over, I let Hannah choose whether or not to stay in pajamas or get dressed. She wanted to stay in PJs for a while. I pulled out the old VCR and plugged in the Lion King for Hannah and Garrett to watch. That only lasted about 20 minutes.

Time out for both kids for running in the hall after I asked them not to twice.

Baby Evelyn was dropped off around 9:45 AM. The kids just stared at her for a bit.

Snack: graham crackers and dried fruit.

They played with Mr. Potato Head and friends for a while. Then they played in Hannah's room, too. I turned on the Lion King again while I fed the baby then sent them outside.

Lunch: chicken nuggets with ranch dressing, macaroni and cheese, mixed fruit cup, apple juice. Garrett had seconds on the mac 'n cheese while Hannah barely ate. They both had a couple of pieces of chocolate for dessert.

Hannah and Garrett went down for nap around 12:30 PM. They were fooling around and on the second warning I took the ni-nights away. I gave the ni-nights back close to 1 PM. Garrett was out but Hannah took a little bit longer to wind down. The baby fell asleep also so I closed my eyes for a few minutes and woke up an hour and half later when the baby was wiggling around the play yard. Hannah woke up after sleeping two hours. Jim woke Garrett up when he got here around 3:30 PM.

Hannah had pink moo and fruit snack then got to play Pac-Man for a little bit after Garrett went home. (I sent Garrett's fruit snack with him for the car ride.) The video game didn't hold her interest for long so I let her watch cartoons while I fed the baby again.

Brad got home around 5 PM.

[The Me part: I attempted to fold some clothes but there wasn't much productivity today. I forgot to feed myself this morning.]
