My Beagle is Sexy -- Posted by Brad

While walking my beagle (Petey) tonight we had a cat follow us for about half a block. Petey was getting really excited the whole way and a bit hard to control. so I decided if his cat is going to be stupid enough to follow us, well then ill let Petey say hi in his usual barking way. So I turned around and let Petey approach the cat. They got nose to nose and began to sniff each other. My first impression was Holy ship, because I expected the cat would be barked at or eaten by now. After a few sniffs Petey turned away and began to look for a place to mark his territory (good dog). The cat kept sniffing and then got the bright idea to climb up the back end of him. At this point I am thinking Petey has to do something. Nope he just continues to look for that prime spot to mark his territory (bad dog). Well I of course could not allow this to continue so just as the cat started to get his back and forth sway on, I yanked my dog away and hissed at the cat to scare it. That didn't do much except make him jump back a bit. So Petey and I started walking away and thankfully the cat stayed there. But as we were going Petey finally turned around and gave a bit of a beagle whine as if to say "call me".
