Hannah-isms

Hannah may be a surgeon when she grows up. She successfully pulled raisins out of her raisin toast without disturbing the bread. Then, she decided to eat the bread, but only the buttery parts. She also has this trick of spooning the milk out of her cereal and then eating the cereal. Silly Boo.

She looked up at me after breakfast with huge blue eyes and said "It's not nap time?"

She's currently yelling at the TV for Mickey Mouse to use "That one!" "Right there!" I know the Clubhouse is set up that way, but it's still funny to hear the enthusiasm in her voice.

I came home from a manicure and pedicure last week and Hannah was thrilled with my nails so we had to paint hers. I had a shimmery, semi-transparent blue that I put on her teeny toes and fingernails and she was so happy with that. I've since removed my (flaking, peeling) pink and replaced with clear, but she saw the shine last night and said, "I love yours nails, mommy." How cute is that? I swear I've never been all that girly, but man, she is one girly-girl.

Hannah woke up from her nap the other day crying that she wanted her camping and her Becca (my friend who we went camping with for the 4th) and would only hear, "Yes, sweetie, we'll go camping again soon." She must have been dreaming about our trip.

Hannah wants to go to Disneyland because Daddy has told her about the castle at the beginning of Disney films and how much fun that place is. Our answer has been "When you learn how to listen we can go." She says, "I'm listening right now, put shoes on, go to Disneyland!" My answer has changed to "When you're four."
