A new friend of mine (Hi, Susanne!) shared a mommy tip with me. It's kind of a Marco Polo game with the tots in the house. It goes something like this: "[child's name], say Mama!" I thought this was cool. The idea is that you can tell which room in the house the little one is when they answer. So, I thought I'd give it a try with Hannah. Here's how it went:
Me: Hannah say Mama
Hannah: [silence]
Me: Hannah! Say Mama!
Hannah: No, I don't want to.
Me: How about, Hannah say Boo?
Hannah: No, I don't want to.
Me: Will you say Panda if I say Kung Fu?
Hannah: Not right now.

So, then I tried it again a little bit later:
Me: Hannah! Kung Fu . . .
Hannah: [silence]
Me: Hannah, you're supposed to say Panda
Hannah: No, not Panda, I'm Hannah Brown.

Oh well, at least she's answering.

LOL! I guess "I don't want to!" works, huh? :-)
