So Merlin Mann Twittered about writing at least 2400 words in a day, which led Victoria Marinelli to buckle down and write a story. (Don't worry if you don't know these folks. They are complete strangers that I follow on Twitter. Twits may know them as @hotdogsladies and @vmarinelli.) I'm not at the point of even 200 words per day or writing a full story, but it reminded me to practice writing. My sister has always been identified as the artist. My brother is the musician. I always figured myself for a writer and poet. But is a writer a writer if there aren't any words on paper or screen? My goal is going to be to pull out the old notebook, paper and binding that is, and write something. Write anything. Baby steps, right? Maybe after practicing the ol' free-write for a bit, I can work into the draft stories again. Then the revision process, with help. Wow, it's seems like such a small thing to start again, but such an important step for me to make. I guess it's like any lifestyle change, it starts with a decision. I decide to write again.

You are very witty. It would be fun to read a story that you write. I say, "Go you!" :-)
I just wrote a post on my site about needing/wanting to write more. Hilarious! Good luck to you in your writing endeavors. What do you plan on writing about (or have you gotten that far yet)? :o)
