What we did today, Tuesday, September 23, 2008:

• Garrett watched Spider-Man cartoons and Dora the Explorer waiting for Hannah to wake up. She slept until 7:40 AM.
• Breakfast was Alphabets cereal. Garrett ate about 1/2 cup with milk. Hannah didn’t want breakfast.
• We had kind of a lazy morning watching cartoons and playing with motorcycles. Hannah was groggy and Garrett’s cough was a little persistent so Amy/Mommy kept things low key.
• By 9 AM everyone was dressed and had clean faces and teeth. Hannah had her Albuterol treatment, and did it by herself like a champ. I gave Hannah a braid and she is walking around saying “I Princess Leia.”
• Garrett had a little time out this morning for hitting Hannah with his motorcycle. He told he was sorry and sat in the TO spot like a big boy until the timer dinged without crying. We had a little bit of cuddle time after that.
• Snack was zucchini bread and milk. Both kids were pretty big eaters.
• Story time was short because two little friends couldn’t stop making silly noises at each other.
• We went on a walk to the park then came back for lunch.
• Lunch was corn dogs, cheese stick, and carrots with peas. Garrett ate one cheese stick, almost a whole corn dog and a couple of bites of carrots with peas. Hannah ate the inside of her corn dog and a bite of peas.
• Amy/Mommy’s friend Becca came over and played with Garrett while Hannah went to her grandparent’s during Amy/Mommy’s haircut. It looks like Garrett and Becca were partying with the Toy Story movie and Garrett didn’t sleep. Becca took a movie with her phone of Garrett dancing that she’ll email to Amy/Mommy that we can all watch later. The little buckaroo dozed off about 10 minutes before daddy was supposed to pick him up. Hannah never napped after playing with Papa and the dogs.
• Garrett was picked up at 2:45 PM.
• Hannah and Amy/Mommy went to pick up her cousin from school. He had a light dinner and did his homework, then played with Hannah until his mom picked him up for football practice.
• Brad made it home by the skin of his teeth in time for Amy to go to her first book club meeting.
• No dishes were done by Amy/Mommy in the making of this day, but I did sneak a small load of nigh-nights in the washer and dryer between walks to the park and making lunch.
