What we did today, Friday, October 31, 2008

• I woke up around 9 AM when I heard the trash truck on our street, ran to the window, saw that our can was not at the curb yet, threw on a hat and shoes and ran out in my pajamas to drag the can down to the curb at the same instant that the truck pulled up to our drive way. Hannah slept until 10 AM.
• Breakfast was chocolate moo and toasty sticks. We were out of pink.
• Hannah’s being a couch slouch this morning. My back still hurts and we have a busy afternoon/evening ahead, so I’m going to let her.
• Gathered up laundry and finished putting away the last batch.
• Washed face, brushed teeth, combed hair.
• Hannah wanted to wear her monkey suit from last year. Then, she found her Tinker Bell pajama top and wanted to wear that. What a great pajama day!
• It was all fun and games until Hannah fell off the bed while trying to claim Brad’s loose change off of his dresser. She’s OK, but very grumpy about it. We needed to have some cuddle time after that.
• Lunch was leftover pizza and Gatorade. I couldn’t get her to eat more than one bite. I don’t feel like fighting. She’ll be hungry after nap.
• Nap came around 1:45 PM. At 2:30 PM, she was still fidgeting and playing around. I threatened her with not trick-or-treating but she still would not go to sleep. She finally conked out at 3 PM.
• I swapped laundry and finally got to take my shower.
• Brad got home around 4 PM.
