What we did on Friday, December 19, 2008

  • Hannah tried to wake up at 6 AM or so but I talked her into going back to sleep. We stayed in bed until 10 AM. Yeah, 10 AM people. It was nice.
  • Pink moo and toasty sticks. I had her cracking up because I confirmed her breakfast request as "Pink sticks and toasty moo".
  • Hannah was holding steady at 99-100℉ and seemed to be feeling better so that when I asked her doctor if she wanted to see her again, they said she should be on the mend and we did not need to come in. The specialist's office called and we have an appointment set in two weeks.
  • We spent some time folding clothes and watching cartoons. We also fished off of the bed for a while.
  • Trash day! We got to see the trash truck and it was a fun 40 seconds, I tell ya what.
  • Lunch was leftover Tie Fighters, half of half a ham-turkey-roast beef and cheddar sandwich, and chips. She munched but didn't really eat much.
  • Hannah had a short nap for some reason. I let her lay on my bed while I worked on assembly of some gifts.
  • Snack was half an apple and a handful of pretzels.
  • She seems on the mend. No more heat coming off her head than normal and I'm so relieved.
  • We read some stories and sang some songs. Hannah recites numbers to 12 in English and 6 in Spanish when she concentrates. She also is starting to understand that we can count items at the same time we recite the numbers. She also is recognizing the difference between letters and numbers when she sees them in print.
  • Daddy got home about 15 minutes after the ham was done.
