We were up around 7:30 AM. Hannah started talking about going to meet new friends at the play date we have later as part of this mommy group I joined. I told her we were going to Sarah's house to meet new friends and she started talking about Caillou and how he had dinner in his friend's, Sarah's, kitchen. I don't think we've seen that episode in a while. She either watched it at my mom's or has one heck of a memory. Wow.
Hannah had Lucky Charms cereal in yogurt, toasted English muffin with margarine and jelly, and orange juice for breakfast. Actually, she ate the marshmallow charms out of her cereal and therefore she accidentally ingested some yogurt. I forced her to take a bite or two of English muffin and the cereal part of her cereal, but it was all over after the marshmallows were gone.
Ready, dressed, go! Off to the play date! We would have been right on time except that I forgot to allow for stopping at the store for our shared item to bring. Hannah seemed to have fun. She really didn't interact very much with the other children, but I had fun interacting with other grown ups.
My sweet thing fell asleep in the car on the way home. I let her go to bed right away per her request since she wanted to sleep more than she wanted to eat lunch. That lasted for about 10 minutes and she started playing, so we had lunch. She ate some of her leftover macaroni and cheese and most of two pieces of leftover sausage. She finished playing and asked if she could have her nap time, so back to bed we went. She took about half an hour to fall asleep and that was around 2:30 PM. She woke up around 4:15 PM.
Cartoons for Hannah while I tried to get some household stuff done. I swept the kitchen and folded laundry. Then we played with Lincoln Logs and listened to kids' radio for a while.
Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
