Friday

Up and attem almost on time. I only hit the snooze button for 30 minutes. I had us almost ready to go when my mom and dad picked us up to go to the library with them. They were already out and going there and we were also planning to go so we went together. Hannah thought this was great and was very excited about seeing her grandparents. She only later remembered that going to the library means that you get to pick out books to bring home.

Hannah picked out 4 books and I picked out another and a CD for her to listen to. You can keep the CDs for three weeks also. I did not know that. Very cool. They didn't have my book club book and the copies at other branches were checked out or reserved. I'll check the used book store tomorrow before I go to the big retailer.

When we got done with the library, we went to my parents' house for a while. It was a nice day so Hannah played catch with Papa outside for a few minutes. Papa made us lunch. Hannah only ate a quarter of a cheese sandwich and had one timeout for rudely refusing to eat. I might have left her in timeout for too long because she had been pretending she was in the bathtub. After lunch I got to have some mother-daughter time with my mom and Hannah got to watch the "Heffalump Movie" with Papa in his office/den. After the movie was over he gave us a ride home.

We did the timer exercise again today. She still had trouble settling down after I sat down, so I may adjust the timer to 20 minutes instead of 15 to see if that works. She fell asleep at 2:35 PM; over half an our after I got her to lay down initially. I wasn't paying attention to the clock and she ended up sleeping until 5 PM. She didn't want to get up and tried to sleep in. She finally got out of bed at 5:30 PM. Oh well, it's Friday so she can stay up later tonight. We cuddled and watched a cartoon until Brad got home 15 minutes later.
