I set the alarm for 7 AM and then reset it for 8 AM. Then, I hit snooze for half and hour then finally turned off the alarm. Hannah woke me up at 9 AM. We talked and cuddled and played for about another half hour.
The usual, by request. She actually laid out her morning for me. "I want to sit on the green couch. I want cartoons. I want pink moo and toasty sticks. Get it for me, Mommy." We're still working on "please" and "thank you".
Hannah played with her guitar for a while. She lined up her stuffed animals and made them her audience. It was very cute. She can sing "Are you sleeping" all the way through without help. At least until she's on camera, then she gets a little stumped. Then, she turned her audience into a movie audience and as far as I can tell, they were watching pom-poms from the dress up box, but then, who am I to critique? After the movie, Hannah played "going to the store". She even locked her bedroom door with play keys on the way to the store.
Hannah had some dry rice crisp cereal for snack with orange juice.
We went to the grocery store for real. I was in some sort of time warp and we left after 12:30 PM. For some reason, it took a long time to do the shopping and we ended up getting lunch from A&W at 3 PM. Oh, Hannah told me she had to go potty at the store and actually did #2 there.
Hannah ate half of a cheeseburger while I put away groceries. For dessert, she had the Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies from her kids meal [are you ready for this?] dipped in ranch dressing.
After lunch, since it was 4 PM, Hannah got to have her quiet time watching "Madagascar 2" so she wouldn't fall asleep so late. Then she climbed under a laundry basket and entertained herself like that for a good quarter of an hour and that's where she was hiding when Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
