Hannah: (After nap) Mawme-ee! You need to come here!
Me: What's up? What's the matter?
Hannah: You need to wake me up.
Hannah playing with toy dishes: Are these my cookers?
Me: Yes, they're called utensils. Can you say utensil?
Hannah: Utensil. Are these my cookers?
[Sounds of something crashing from another room where Hannah was playing]
Brad, calling down the hallway: Hannah, are you OK?
Hannah, sounding quite fine: No-oh!
Brad: You sound OK. If you're OK, you need to say 'Yes', OK?
Hannah: No-oh!
Me: Try asking a different question, honey.
Brad: Are you hurt?
Hannah: No-oh!
Hannah: Where's my eye-box?
Me: What? I don't know what that is?
Hannah: My eye-box to put animals in.
Me: What color is it?
Hannah: It has green houses on it.
Me: Come look with me.
Hannah: There it is!
Me: The Lincoln Logs? Those are Lincoln Logs.
Hannah: That's what I said, my eye-box.
Hannah: My breath hurts!
Me: Do you want to brush your teeth?
Hannah: No, thanks.
Hannah wanted to play with a "tenckle" and we couldn't figure it out. Brad asked her to show him one and she rolled a piece of paper into a telescope. Tenckle = Telescope.
