Monday, a trip to the park, a friend over

We woke up after 9 AM which was late for our plans today. We scrambled to get ready. Hannah had chocolate milk and toasty sticks.

On the road late, but we got to the play date at the park just around 11:30 AM. We met some new friends from the Mommy Connection play group that we belong to. Hannah played and played and played. Even though we brought lunch, she really only ate one bite of her sandwich, a Cutie mandarin orange, and some juice. There was too much going on to sit still and eat. We stayed for about an hour and a half.

We offered to let Sonja (5) come over so Tracy could do her shopping. Hannah finished more of her peanut butter and jelly sandwich and shared her Cheetos with her new friend who also ate the rest of her lunch. Hannah and Sonja watched "Bolt" for a little while. Then they played outside and found some mud. Sonja was here for just about two hours.

Hannah had an accident on her way to potty that ended up with me putting her in the shower and washing the bath mats and the floor. Oh, and shoes with princesses on them generally do not do well when wet.

I gave Hannah a popsicle for a snack at which point she had a tantrum that she wanted an ice cream sandwich. She said the words "I tired" so I sent her to bed to finish her tantrum. She fell asleep at 5 PM. Brad got home at 5:30 PM.
