Hannah woke up around 8:30 AM. She watched a cartoon, then got dressed and ate cereal in milk with orange juice to drink for breakfast. She was still eating breakfast when Susanne dropped off Emily and Braedyn for her day off. She also brought them mini scones and that was especially yummy for Hannah. She couldn't get it all in her mouth fast enough.
The kids played with various toys for a little while. We made maracas for a craft. That took up a good quarter of an hour of our time. They had fun and boy, red beans make a loud instrument!
We hid plastic eggs around the house and took turns hiding them and looking for them over and over again. Once they got the concept, they thought this was much fun.
Raisin bread and orange juice for snack. More toy time. I let them watch Handy Manny while I made lunch.
Lunch: dinosaur chicken nuggets with Ranch, and some apple slices, grapes, and string cheese that Susanne brought over. They also had a few tortilla chips because I had some with my taquitos. Marshmallow peeps and a Hershey's chocolate egg for dessert. What a treat!
We watched Disney-Pixar's "Ratatouille" for a little settle-down time. That only lasted for a about 10 minutes then they played with more toys.
Emily and Braedyn went home just after 1:30 PM and Hannah went straight to bed for a nap. She slept for about an hour and a half.
Fruit snack and pink milk for snack while watching "Ratatouille" again. She colored for a while.
