Monday

A little background: Yesterday we found a cockatiel while on a walk. We were walking the dog and the bird was standing in a neighbor's yard about three feet away from a crouching kitty. We rescued him and brought him home after knocking on a few doors and not finding his owner.

This morning Hannah slept late and I finally woke her up around 9:15 AM. Toasty sticks, chocolate moo, cartoon.

With Hannah still in her PJs, we took a little stroll and knocked on some more doors to see if we could find out where this little bird lives. No luck.

We came home and got in the car to go get Nephew Nathan. We had plans to go to the water park with him today. We picked him up and brought him back to our house to help pin up some "Found Cockatiel" flyers.

We had lunch at home. Hannah and I had what was left of some leftover Spam Loco Moco and Nate ate a ham and cheese sandwich. Hannah barely ate any food. We got swim suits and sunscreen on.

Brad wasn't feeling well and came home from work around noon.

Nate, Hannah, and I dropped a flyer off at Baring Vet and went to the water park. I noticed my friend's (Tamara) car in the parking lot and we found her son, Brenden, in the lazy river. Nate and Brenden were so good with Hannah and went down the toddler slides with her. Hannah had a lot of fun. We stayed until about 4:30 PM.

Hannah had a frozen chocolate covered banana for a snack at the water park and a couple of bites of my pretzel. We shared a lemonade.

We dropped off Nate at his house and came home to wake up Brad from his nap.
