What we did today, Monday, October 13, 2008

• I was up just after 8 AM, contemplating what to do with my time alone before Hannah woke up. I got as far as fixing my cup of coffee when she woke up around 8:15 AM.
• I took her straight to the potty but she resisted, threw a fit, and didn’t want to go.
• Breakfast was toasty sticks, left over blueberry-banana muffin (she had to have some of what I was eating), orange slices, and pink moo. Hannah put some food in her mouth. I would have liked it to be more.
• G bgftjncvb dfv gghghgg67n jkjiui ygyhbnhjgghjh [Hannah’s input. Translation: Mommy let me type on the computer for a few minutes.]
• Hannah let me shower. She played with her Cinderella-wants-to-be-Polly-Pocket doll.
• Mom and Dad stopped by to drop off a DVD of the home videos of Hannah’s party and some nut-free chocolate chip cookies.
• Brad came home for lunch. Hannah ate most of a hot dog, macaroni and cheese, some chips, and a chocolate chip cookie. She barely drank any apple juice.
• Hannah fell asleep just after 12:45 PM, and I fell asleep quickly after. We woke up around 3 PM.
• Snack was popcorn and pink moo.
• Around 4 PM we got some shoes and hats on and went to the post office. Of course, I wasn’t the only one to forget today was Columbus Day (Observed) as the post office was quite busy with people going in and turning around to go right back out. We waited in line at the Automated Postal Center for some lady to finish cursing at it just to find out we couldn’t purchase stamps today. There wasn’t a coin operated stamp machine there anymore, either. We went to Save-Mart and they had stamps, perfectly good ones for the same price as the post office, and purchased ham hocks for our potato soup (Brad’s idea).
• Brad got home just after 5 PM and took Hannah to the park.
