What we did today, Friday, October 10, 2008

• (No Garrett today. Won’t have him again for a little while.)
• Wow! We really slept in this morning. I woke up just after 9 AM and woke Hannah up around 9:20 AM.
• I took her straight to the potty after changing her diaper and she groggily went. I’ll try this again after nap since she’s been waking up dry.
• Breakfast (9:45 AM) was cereal with bananas. Definitely a favorite of Hannah’s.
• Hannah helped me take out the recycling from under the sink and then we put on socks because it’s windy.
• Washed faces, brushed teeth, did Hannah’s nebulizer at 11:30 AM. I didn’t shower this morning.
• We jumped and danced around for a while. We played with phonics/alphabet flash cards. I let Hannah watch the Ariel movie for about 20 minutes while I made lunch.
• Lunch (1 PM) was grilled cheese sandwiches with turkey, chips, and apple juice.
• Naptime (1:30 PM) Hannah actually fell asleep closer to 1:45 PM. She had a lot of wiggles and bodies to work out. Bodies are like wiggles, but somehow different. We don’t know what the difference is. We just humor her. I managed to stay awake, thanks in part to the dog barking at clumps of snow falling off the trees. I got 2-3 baskets of laundry folded and watched the end of Iron Man. Hannah woke up around 3:15 PM, without crying.
• Snack (3:45 PM) was fruit snacks and pink moo. A little while later, I did let her have 6 M&Ms. (shhh, don't tell.)
• We bundled up and played out back for about 20 minutes in the snow/slush. Hannah kept putting muddy slush in her mouth, so we came back inside.
• After outside time, we played with her trains and her dress up dolls.
• Around 5 PM, we decided it was hot chocolate time. Yummy.
