What we did today, Thursday, October 9, 2008

• Garrett stayed home again today. Hannah woke up around 8 AM but let me have a lie in until 9 AM watching cartoons.
• Breakfast (9:15 AM) was toaster waffles with butter and syrup, oranges, and orange juice. Hannah helped make it by putting the waffles in the toaster. Hannah ate both waffles and a couple of bites of orange.
• Face washed, teeth brushed. Hannah dressed.
• Hannah let me shower.
• 10:30 AM. Headed out for a walk. Having a fight over which shoes to wear. Yelling at the stupid screaming dog not to break the back sliding door by pounding on it because he wants to go with us. We went to the park and met a nice couple with a toddler and a teeny newborn. We were one almost an hour.
• Hannah wanted to watch the Ariel movie (those need to go back to the video store!) while I made lunch.
• Lunch (12 PM) was corndogs, green beans, and pink moo. Hannah ate two (coerced) bites of green beans with ketchup and almost all of her dog. Oh, and two cookies.
• We napped from 12:45 PM until 3:45 PM. Yeah, I fell asleep again.
• Hannah wanted to watch the mermaid again, so I let her while if made snack.
• Snack (4:30 PM) was graham crackers and left over cake frosting. She played with it but didn’t eat any of it. I bet she’s sick tonight or tomorrow. She must be sick to pass up frosting, right?
• Hannah painted with her Ariel watercolors until she got bored. I tried to get the kitchen cleaned up.
• Brad didn’t get home until 5:30 PM.
