What we did today, Tuesday, October 7, 2008
• Garrett was dropped off at 6:30 AM and we both went back to sleep on the living room sofa. Hannah came skipping out of bed at 7:30 AM, hollering for Garrett, but snuggled on the sofa for a little while and watched cartoons. Garrett woke up around 8:15 AM. Both went potty. Hannah was dry before she went!
• Breakfast (8:45 AM) was scrambled eggs, toast with jam, and milk. Garrett ate it all. Hannah had to be convinced that she loves scrambled eggs.
• Two mixing spoons and one upside-down bucket each equals loud entertainment.
• Kids dressed, faces washed, teeth brushed.
• Hannah’s nebulizer (9:30 AM).
• Brad stayed home today, so he took the kids out back while I showered.
• Snack (10:30 AM) was Chex Mix and apple juice.
• We left around 11 AM for Hannah’s haircut. We were a little early so we drove to downtown Sparks to see the train. Hannah sat still like a champ for her haircut and even let Cheri curl her hair. Garrett was very patient and quite the gentleman waiting. Cheri gave them each a Tootsie Pop. My car smells like artificial grape flavoring.
• We came back home and tried to finish the suckers, but there was too much candy on that stick for their little attention spans, so they played while I caught up on the daily summary.
• Mini-manicures for little people. They both sat very still and didn’t cry.
• These silly creatures turned book time into a super silly fun fest. Silly.
• Lunch (12:30 PM) was left over pizza and plus from Pizza Plus with milk.
• Naptime (1 PM). Hannah woke up around 3:15 PM. Garrett slept another half hour past that.
• The kids got to play some video games with Brad on the Play Station for about 30 minutes.
• Snack (4:15 PM) sliced apple and ice water.
• Garrett went home around 4:45 PM. He’s going to stay home with his mom tomorrow. Hannah and I may have a pajama party.
• Tried watching the debate with Hyper Hannah. Missed most of it.
