What we did today, Thursday, November 6, 2008
• Hannah and I woke up around 7:15 AM. She watched cartoons and ate toasty sticks and chocolate moo while I took a shower. Boo-bear wanted to stay in her in monkey ballerina pajamas a little longer, so I let her. She’s complaining of a stomachache . . .*
• I set up the crock-pot for the pot roast with vegetables. Well, the pot roast was bad, which I had intended to use on Monday, anyway, but there it is, I threw it out. I just threw $14 in the trash. So, I just put the onion, carrots, potatoes, and celery in the crock-pot with the beef broth and salt and pepper. Maybe we’ll add noodles to it tonight. I’m bummed.
• *. . . and with that diaper, went the stomachache. She’s not sick.
• Hannah played dress up then we started some major toy clean up. We didn’t finish. We aren’t getting much done today. Someone is clingy.
• Hannah watched too much TV then we went and brushed teeth, got her dressed, washed face, combed hair, and went potty again.
• Snack was Doritos and apple juice. Yes, I’m being lazy today.
• Cleaned and vacuumed Hannah’s room. Vacuumed the hallway, including edges.
• Lunch for Hannah was leftover macaroni and cheese and mixed veggies. Hannah ate well enough to earn two pieces of Halloween candy.
• Hannah went to start her nap at 1:40 PM, but had trouble settling down. She fell asleep at 2 PM. I think I nodded off for 20 minutes, but woke up to the dog barking. She woke up around 3:30 PM and said she wanted to go back to sleep. “Well, OK, then dear. Go right ahead.” She slept for another 25 minutes.
• I swept and mopped the kitchen floor and swept front porch while she slept. I washed Petey’s blankets with the last of the detergent. Attempted to finish folding clothes.
• Hannah was still kind of sleepy so we cuddled for a while. She keeps saying she’s not feeling good, but then she wants to play. It may be the time change and our schedule change.
• We had a slice of bread with butter and sugar on it for afternoon snack and Hannah got a juice box.
• Brad got home around 5 PM.
