• Brad and I stayed up until one o’clock watching “The Dark Knight” and I guess we were loud coming to bed because Hannah was wide awake. We let her sleep with us. I woke up several times between 7:30 and 9 AM, but since Hannah was still sleeping, I tried my best to stay in bed and go back to sleep. We got up around 9:30 AM. Hannah was singing “Jingle Bells” before she’d even opened her eyes. And of course, she asked where Daddy was.
• Pink moo and toasty sticks.
• I showered and dressed. Hannah’s teeth are brushed, face washed, hair combed, and she’s dressed.
• Hannah played with Frog and Dog for a while. Then she just ran around the house.
• We went to the park. We took Petey. He was doing that snarking thing with his nose on the way there, but he was fine on the way back. It was warmer than I thought it would be and I let Hannah take off her coat. I let her go without a pull-up. She went potty before we left and as soon as we got back. We were only gone about 45 minutes, including walking time.
• We turned on the radio and played with musical instruments and some coupon cards that were littering the driveway.
• Hannah ate dino-nuggets, green beans, banana, and cheese for lunch with a juice box to drink. I put ranch dressing on the green beans and had to put them in her mouth for her, but she chewed them up without much fuss.
• She fell asleep around 1:40 PM. She tried to wake up at 2:45 PM, so I put her on the potty and let her sleep in my arms in the rocker while I caught up on “Chuck” and “Heroes”.
• We left around 4:30 to pick up my friend’s son and take him to her. We got home around 5:40 PM. We beat Brad home. . . well of course we did. He called at 6 PM to say he was leaving work. “Cinderella III: A Twist in Time” is on, so that kept us occupied.
