What we did on Friday, December 12, 2008

• We got up just before 9 AM. “Where’s Daddy?”
• Pink moo and toasty sticks.
• Dressed, pottied, washed, and brushed. No shower for mommy.
• We played out back for a few minutes and then we heard the trash truck so we ran out front. He wasn’t to our block yet, so we took the dog and the tricycle out on the friveway for a little while. But still no trash truck. It was potty time so we came back inside.
• Hannah asked if she could watch the Cars movie, so I let her. We’re being lazy. I guess we’ve had a lazy couple of weeks, but it’s easier not to do a whole lot while putting a little person on the potty every hour. Hannah is holding up her toy Cars cars to the TV to make sure they match the ones on TV.
• Cuddle time rules.
• Petey was crying at the front door, so we peeked outside and saw Patches, the neighbor’s cat, crossing the street. Hannah and I went out front and called patches and she came back across the street to say hello. The cat came when she was called. She’s a sweet cat. My eyes itch like heck right now, though.
• Momo and Papa stopped by on their way to Wal-Mart and got hugs and kisses.
• Mini raviolis by Chef Boyardee, Ritz crackers with butter, string cheese and pink moo. She tried to eat just the pasta part of the ravioli and she tried to be dainty about it. Lunch was interrupted by a quick run to see the trash truck. This is one of Hannah’s favorite things about Fridays.
• Hannah went down for nap around 2 PM. She was asleep in 15 minutes. She woke up around 3:30 PM. We had some cuddle time and I made her watch the last 5 minutes of “My Name is Earl” with me, but “The Office” didn’t seem appropriate so I’ll watch that later.
• Afternoon cartoons while waiting for the snow and Daddy to get home. It took me a few minutes to figure out that “Ana ana” is anaconda, as seen on “Go Diego Go”.
• Hannah had fruit snacks and lemonade for an afternoon snack.
• Brad got home around 5:45 PM.
