• I woke up before Hannah and snuck into the shower. She slept until just after 9 AM.
• I got her dressed, sat her on the potty, brushed her teeth, and washed her face. We’re doing underwear again today.
• Breakfast was alphabet cereal in milk. She ate all of it.
• I let her watch cartoons for a few minutes while I started a load of laundry and wandered around picking up a little bit.
• Hannah came and told me that she’d peed in her pants, but she was dry. I think she stopped herself. This is going well so far!
• We went to play in the back yard for a while. It’s hard to sit in the sun and type on the laptop at the same time. It’s too bright to see the display. Backlit laptops. There’s an idea.
• We read some Christmas stories for a little while.
• Lunch was corn dog, carrots, tator-tots and chocolate milk. Hannah ate the dog, but not the corn breading. She managed to choke down some carrots, but she ate more ketchup than anything.
• Nap time came close to 1:45 PM. Hannah wouldn’t settle down, so I refused to sit on the end of her bed anymore and went into the living room. I didn’t hear anything, so I thought that maybe she was going to sleep by herself. About 10 minutes later, I sneezed and I heard this very small “Bless you, mommy” from the back room. I got up and went to put her back in bed. She saw me coming from her door way and went running to her bed. I said “Get in bed” and she jumped up on the bed and said “I’m dropping poopy on the floor.” [sighs] That was the first accident today. It was a doozy so I put her back in a pull-up for nap. She fell asleep right after we got back in bed. I guess I know now why she had a hard time falling asleep and why she was so quiet. She slept until just after 4 PM. We put new panties on after nap.
• We watched the Dora movie for a few minutes.
• We went out back again until it got dark. Hannah had a tantrum because she didn’t want to come in and take off her shoes, so she had a time out.
• We watched more TV and had chips for snack.
• Brad came home late. Close to 6 PM.
