What we did today, Wednesday, December 3, 2008

• Hannah woke up at a quarter to nine. I tried to get her to lounge around so I could stay in bed, but she saw that the sun was up. It was time to wake up. Potty and panties on.
• We had scrambled eggs, bacon, cinnamon raisin bread, and orange juice for breakfast. She ate most of it.
• After breakfast, we got dressed, brushed and washed.
• The child is needy today. I’ve had to announce my rights to a breakfast and a shower. I’m allowed these things and she needs to know get it soon.
• Hannah watched cartoons while I showered. I showered quickly. I had to crate the dog because he was barking his lungs out.
• We finally made it out the door just after 12 PM to go to the grocery store. Hannah did not want to stop touching things and couldn’t keep close to the cart without pushing it around. Since the store was pretty busy, I made her sit in the cart. Hannah loves to put change into the Salvation Army’s red bucket on the way out of the store. The bell ringer was a little more interested in Hannah than I felt comfortable with though. Oh, I did put pull-ups on her for this trip. I’m not ready for an accident out there, in the world.
• Lunch was a Happy Meal. I know it’s not really food, but the FDA doesn’t seem to mind, so we both had chicken nuggets with fries and an apple pie each. Hannah was very excited about her My Little Pony toy.
• Since she was so excited about her toy, I left Hannah to lay in her bed and settle down for a few minutes and wait for me. She was still very restless after I took the toy away and finally fell asleep just before 3 PM. She woke up at 4:30 and we went straight to the potty and took off the pull-up.
• Hannah wanted to hang out in my room while I folded and put away clothes. She had fruit snack and pink moo for a snack and watched cartoons.
• Brad got home at 5:30 PM. We made it accident free!
