After refusing to sleep alone last night, and finally crawling into bed with us around 11:30 PM, Hannah slept until about 9:30 AM. I'm OK with that as I got to sleep in as well.
I let Hannah eat some chocolate Frosted Hostess Donettes with her pink moo for breakfast. Have you had one of these in a while? Wow. For me, it's one of those foods that's better left to childhood memory and better not experienced again as an adult.
Movietime Monday on Playhouse Disney was uncooperative and played a Cheetah Girls movie. Hannah picked out the "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" on DVD to watch while I showered. She really got into it and we had to watch it through to the end.
After our movie, we grabbed the Frisbee and headed to the park. The Frisbee only kept her attention for 2 minutes as there were plenty of kids at the park today. We had to go over to the school playground to use the swings since a couple of big sisters were hogging the swings at the park. All together, we played for about 40 minutes.
I let Hannah watch a cartoon while I fixed lunch. She ate/dissected the other half of her ham and salami sandwich from yesterday, some apple slices, a couple of chips, and a cookie.
Hannah didn't end up laying down for nap until close to 2:30 PM and then it took her almost 20 minutes to fall asleep. While she slept, I took down the rest of Christmas and put pictures in a frame. She slept until about 4:45 PM when she said, "Maaawwwwmmmmeeee! Come here."
I said, "Are you waking up? You can come out here, if you want."
"But I can't!" she whined. "My legs didn't wake up."
We cuddled, we watched cartoons, we had snack. Hannah asked for dried "fwoot". How awesome is Dole that they make a dried fruit she likes? We played with dry erase markers until the attention span was spent about 10 minutes later.
Daddy got home around 6 PM.
