Lazy day

We slept in until 9 AM. Hannah woke up asking me how to start Humpty Dumpty. She had the fell off a wall part, but couldn't remember the rest.

Pink moo and toasty sticks and a couple of Hostess Donettes for breakfast.

We had a lazy morning and stayed in our PJs. We watched Mulan on Disney. We cuddled some more at her request.

We baked a carrot cake. It's a late birthday cake for Brad. Hannah was a big helper. She helped hold the bowl for a bit but then she had to cover her ears because the mixer was too loud. She also helped me listen for the timer and reminded me to use my oven mitts to put the cakes in and out. She especially liked helping to lick the batter off of the mixers. She sang "Patty Cake" the entire time.

Hannah had her leftover grilled cheese sandwich from yesterday along with some tator tots and split pea soup. She didn't have the attention span for eating today, so I had to help. She seemed to like the soup well enough but not enough to eat it on her own. She got time out for spitting after I told her to stop.

Nap started around 2 PM with Hannah finally falling asleep around 2:30 PM. I laid down and closed my eyes for a little bit also. Hannah woke up around 4:15 PM. She hollered, "Mommy! You come wake me up!"

We watched a couple of cartoons and put frosting on the cake. Hannah helped by not touching the cake and eating the extra frosting.

Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
