Friday, Pre-Valentine's Day

We got up and had breakfast right away around 8 AM. Hannah ate almost all of her cereal in milk (marshmallows first, of course) and some of her orange juice.

We got ready and were out the door around 9:45 AM to go to a Valentine's party. We drove out into the blizzard that seemed to disappear after we got to our destination in the Virginia Foothills. Hannah had a blast and too much sugar at the party. She got to decorate her own cupcake and made a Valentine's card pocket craft. Hannah did have a couple of timeouts at the party for being mean and not listening. We stayed far beyond the end time suggested in the invitation because we were both enjoying the party. Susanne fed us lunch, but Hannah barely ate her peanut butter and jelly sandwich because of all the excitement of the party.

Hannah fell asleep in the car on the way home, but woke up when I got her inside. I made her lay down for over an hour anyway because she really needed to settle down. She played with her tea cups and play food until Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
