Thursday, a pajama/sick day

Hannah had a fever last night and woke up very hot this morning around 9 AM. Pink moo and toasty sticks and Gatorade for breakfast. I gave her Motrin. Lots of cuddling, cartoons, and we played some games on her Leap Frog Click Start system.

Hannah lounged around and I let her watch Dora the Explorer. She built a fort and played with her pillows and blankets. She was still warm at lunch time but the Motrin was doing it's job so I didn't do much more than put her in a short sleeve shirt. Lunch was scrambled egg, cheese, and cinnamon raisin toast.

A person from the insurance company came to look at the hole in the shower wall around 2 PM, so Hannah's nap was a little late. I finally got her down just before 2:30 PM. (Regarding the wall, this "type of loss generally isn't covered" by our policy.) I woke Hannah up at 4 PM and shoved some Gatorade in her face. Her temperature was normal. We colored a song (I drew lines and some random note shapes to look like sheet music) and watched a couple more cartoons. I know it was a lot of television today, but she needed to lay still and this worked.

Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
