What a Wednesday. Today was Wednesday, right?

Up at 8:30 AM. Cartoons on. Hannah was the one that was up. I got up half an hour later. Pink moo and toasty sticks. Me stumbled around for coffee. Only had instant. Boo hoo.

Petey went nuts barking at the side yard and I pulled the blinds back in the dining room to find my self face to face with a strange man who waved and when he did I noticed his shirt had the power company logo on it. My heart was racing anyway.

We turned on the radio for a while. We played, we cuddled, we got ready to leave the house. Hannah asked for some chips for a snack, so we had snack. Brad came home for lunch, so we delayed our departure to visit with him for a few minutes.

We left just before 1 PM and went to get a follow up blood test for Hannah to make sure that she's making antibodies after her last vaccination. I gave her a choice if she wanted to go to the park first, eat lunch first, or get her blood test done. She asked if she could get the blood test done first. I told her ahead of time what was going to happen, so she was a little nervous, but I didn't think it would be fair to just surprise her with it. She started crying as soon as we sat in the chair. Luckily, no one else was waiting in the reception area, so I didn't try to hush her. It still took me holding her and two technicians to draw blood. My poor little champ was done crying almost as soon as they pulled the needle out. She asked me for a glove, so I snagged one and made a balloon. Don't tell.

After the lab, we went to Roundtable Pizza and ordered a personal cheese pizza for Hannah. I had the buffet. We had the whole place to ourselves. Hannah didn't want anything to eat. She drank a little bit of apple juice then just wanted to put her head on my lap and lay down on the booth seat. I let her. After I was finished eating, we went to the park for about 10 minutes. She had asked me nicely over and over if we could go, but she just was feeling too tired to have fun. She said her eyes were "droopy."

Sleep came quickly for her when we got home around 2:30 PM. Petey almost blew nap time. I wouldn't let him in my lap on the sofa and moments later, I heard him whining in the back of the house. I went to check it out and found him trying to get cozy on Hannah's bed, but I guess he didn't like that she was in it. Naughty dog. I woke her up at 4:45 PM. She was warm when I woke her up and was running a fever by the time Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
