The First Day of Spring

I woke up around the time Brad left for work. Hannah slept in until 9 AM. She slept in her own bed all night! She wanted me to read her a book before she'd even gotten out of bed. Cartoons and Eggo product for breakfast while I showered. Hannah asked if she could go bye-bye today, but when I asked if she wanted to get dressed she said no.

We lounged around for the morning while I took my time making beds and folding some laundry.

Hannah chose yogurt for snack. She wanted jelly in it (I usually buy a tub of plain or vanilla flavored) but I couldn't find it so I used apple butter. This was a very happy accident. I had some too and it was delicious.

After snack we went out to the back yard. I folded clothes on the back table and Hannah played. She was quickly bored so we went back inside and watched her rental. She had picked out some classic Disney cartoons and didn't like them. They were too scary for her. I think they were just much more dramatic than what she's been used to with Playhouse Disney.

At one point, I blinked and it was all of a sudden 2 PM. I made lunch and she ate a little leftover pizza and chicken strips and a lot of the cup of fruit in gelatin.

Since it was so late, I didn't make her take a nap. We put shoes on and ran some errands. We went to the car wash first, then the bank, and then the gas station. Petey rode along with us and loved having the windows rolled down (just a little so he can't get out).

We watched more TV until Brad got home because someone was cranky from not getting a nap. I know, it was one of those "pick your battles" kind of days.

Brad got home around 5:30 PM.
