I've been lazy about blogging. I actually haven't spent as much time in front of this screen, which is good, but my ten to twelve readers have suffered for it. Apologies all around, folks.
On Monday we went and hung out with my folks at their house. Hannah rode her tricycle and played with Papa and Nate. They fed us lunch and Hannah surprised us by only eating the yummy, homemade beefy vegetable soup and the bread from her sandwich. After we got home, I assembled the cubes/shelves that my dad passed on to us. (Thanks again, Dad!) Hannah was very excited to see them set up after her nap and got right to work putting her toys on the shelves.
We just hung out at home on Tuesday. Hannah was having a little trouble listening so it worked out for the best. We played in the back yard and watched too much television.
Today, Wednesday, we went to Wild Island with Nathan and met Tamara and Brenden there. We had a lot of fun. Hannah impressed us all by floating around in the lazy river (in her life vest) without hanging on to me or Tamara. We stayed until after 5:30 PM!
[My notes:
I got lots of laundry done;
we have mostly moved back into our bathroom;
I still haven't finished Sherrie's wrap and it's bugging me. I still have 12 lose ends to tie up.]
Post Script/Addendum/Additional Note, Etc.
I feel wretched. I let Hannah get a sunburn. It's not too bad, but I feel completely and utterly horrid because I've inflicted pain on my child through neglect.~
