What we did today, Thursday, December 4, 2008

• So, 8:15 AM felt a lot earlier than it should. But we got up. We did potty right away and her pull-up was dry! We also got dressed (panties again), washed and brushed.
• Pink moo and toasty sticks again for breakfast. She asked for them and then didn’t eat them. I think one more time and we’re not ever going to have toasty sticks again. Under threat of them going into the trash, she started munching on them, but my temper definitely got up about that.
• Cartoons on while I showered.
• Whoops. I wasn’t watching the clock and Hannah had a little accident. She was good and stopped herself and finished on the potty.
• We got ready to go to the library. I put pull-ups on her again for the trip out. We’ll venture out into the world without protection later. Maybe on Saturday when Daddy is around to calm me down. I might panic. We also went to the fabric store and the craft store. Hannah had a very hard time listening and keeping her hands to herself. The result was that when we were getting into the car, I asked her to stand by the back door. She didn’t listen and tried to get into the front seat while I was unlocking the doors. She ended up in between the car and my leg/hip when I turned around because I didn’t see her. She banged her cheek but it was nothing serious. It was just upsetting.
• Hannah didn’t want leftover tacos for lunch so I made her a tortilla pizza. (Tortilla, pizza sauce, shredded cheese. Bake at 450 for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.) She really liked it.
• I let Hannah go lay down in her bed for a few minutes by herself to settle down. I’d like her to eventually fall asleep without one of us sitting on her bed. I did have to rub her feet a few minutes later but she fell asleep quickly at around 2 PM. She woke up around 3:45 PM. I put her on the potty and she refused to pee and threw a tantrum. I sent her back to bed when she screamed at me. I laid down with her to get her to calm down since she was in hysterics over the whole potty thing. We got up again at 4:15 PM since she really didn’t go back to sleep but she did seem to be in a much better mood.
• Hannah didn’t want a snack so I just let her have pink moo and let her watch cartoons while I made salad dressing and prepped stuff for dinner.
• Brad got home around 5:30 PM.

Love that tortilla pizza idea. I'm totally stealing your idea!

What's great about that pizza is that Matt can help make it. Hannah loves putting the cheese on by herself.
