Friday, the 13th, um, again

Hannah woke up around 8 AM. She was yelling from her bed that she can't sleep in her bed all by herself, which she obviously did all night long. She was mad at me that she didn't wake up crying at 2 AM and crawl into bed with me. Silly bear. I praised her for sleeping in her bed and told her I was proud of her.

Pink moo and toasty waffles. Cartoons while I got ready.

I had some trouble keeping Hannah focused on what we were doing this morning. She would wander on into the living room when I wanted her to brush her teeth. I made up "Dora Maps" that showed her what we needed to do. They are really just roughly sketched to-do lists with pictures, but it helped. She was totally on board with the game of checking the Maps of Our Day.

[Pictured backwards, they say we had to (on right) brush teeth, wash face, comb hair, potty, put on shoes and coat; (on left) go to the library, go to the pharmacy, eat at a restaurant. Yeah, I know, I can't draw well.]

We went to the library to return our books and some CDs. Hannah had to put the books in the slot one at a time and was holding up the line a little so the "papa" man behind us just started handing her his books to return. She thought that was fun. She played with (hogged) puzzles and smiled at another little girl before we left. We went to the pharmacy after that and saw another girl jumping up and down so Hannah smiled at her and jumped up and down. After the pharmacy, Hannah and I went to My Favorite Muffin for lunch as a treat. She ate all of the ham out of her sandwich and the mini muffins that came with her meal. She didn't really eat that much. She made quick friends with a baby on our way out the door. After that, we made an unscheduled stop at Kragen for a new cup holder for the white car.

When we got home, Hannah went straight down for nap. She was asleep before the timer went off again at around 2 PM. Around 4:15 PM, I was in my room and I sneezed and I heard from Hannah's room "Bless you!" I called back, "Are you waking up?" and she answered, "No-oh!" About 15 minutes later she started crying that she was afraid of the dark. I had to open her curtains to show her it was daytime.

Pink moo and cartoons. She refused all of the options for snack that I gave her so she didn't get one as long as she couldn't make up her mind.

She watched a cartoon and Brad got home around 5 PM.
