Monday

Garrett was dropped off at 6:15 AM. He fell back asleep on the sofa. Hannah tried to wake up at 7:30 AM but I was trying to have a bit of a lie-in, so I asked her to snooze again. She woke up again at 8:30 AM and we stayed in my room until about 9 AM since Garrett was still asleep. Then we went into the living room and it took until about 9:30 AM for Hannah to wake up Garrett. Pink moo and toasty sticks for both. Cartoons.

Hannah had time out very quickly for not listening and trying to climb over the toddler rail on her bed. Garrett had time out for trying to vanquish the Elmo chair. The kids misbehaved and drove me bonkers while I tried to get us ready to go to the pharmacy and park. Hannah scraped her ribs playing on the dog crate somehow and later, Garrett fell off the sofa while horsing around. I gave Hannah ice and she was fine while Garrett didn't seem injured at all.

The kids were fairly well behaved when we ran to the pharmacy. We stopped at the park by Aunt Nina's house on the way home. I thought Nate could join us if he was home, but he was at the water park today. The kids ate some gold fish crackers then played for almost an hour.

Lunch: peanut butter and honey dino-sandwiches (cut into dinosaur shapes) and applesauce with fruit punch. They had a couple of vanilla wafers for dessert by request.

At nap time, I had to sit in with the kids in Hannah's room to get those two giggly gooses to sleep. I closed my eyes for a second and woke up a couple of hours later. They had about a two hour nap.

Jim and Brad both got here around 5 PM.
